2023 Temporary Disability Rates Announced by DWC

The DWC has announced that the State Average Weekly Wage (SAWW) increase by 5.15924% this past year.  Based upon this, the minimum and maximum temporary total disability (TTD) rates will be increasing.  Effective January 1, 2023, the minimum TTD rate will increase from $230.95 to $242.86 and the maximum TTD rate will increase from $1,539.71 to $1,619.15 per week.

In addition, workers' with a date of injury on or after January 1, 2003, who are receiving life pension or permanent total disability benefits are also entitled to have their weekly rate adjusted based upon the SAWW pursuant to Labor Code Section 4659(c).
